BCRA signed a memorandum of understanding and strategic cooperation with IBI-Rating agency, a Ukrainian credit rating agency. The main goals of the concluded memorandum are, as follows:

  • further increase in the rating standards, as well as expanding the range of the application of credit ratings as a qualitative, independent and objective instrument of the solvency assessment.

According to the memorandum, the Agencies plan to carry out common analytical work, implement joint projects, developed information cooperation. The parties will create, use and develop a common client database and exchange information on any matters requiring technical assistance to each other at the territory of Republic of Bulgaria and Ukraine. The parties are obliged to ensure safety and security of such data.

IBI-Rating is a Ukrainian rating agency authorized by the NSSMC, founded in 2005, it is the largest in Ukraine. IBI-Rating agency works with municipalities, financial and non-financial corporations. In addition to its core business, i.e., determination of ratings, it also provides consulting services and conducts analytical research of various sectors of the economy.

BCRA – Credit Rating Agency is the largest Bulgarian credit rating agency. It was founded in 2002 year. BCRA has acquired over a decade of experience in assigning credit ratings and providing ancillary services to various private and public entities, banks, corporate, sovereign, municipalities in Europe, and is among the very first agencies registered in compliance with Regulation (EC) № 1060/2009 of the European Parliament and European Council. The credit ratings assigned by BCRA are used for regulatory purposes in the whole EU.
